Human! Artist:Drawing you! Damara Megido [DAMZ] joined chat.
DAMZ: She sat there staring at you from across the room, or maybe it was outside? She had forgotten that moment when she saw you.It didn't matter nor did Damra care. She had been hit with inspiration and before getting up, she wanted to finish the picture of you. She sat on the ground, giant sketch-pad in hand and charcoal to paper. Her face showed much concentration and determination.
Mini: A few of the pumpkin-sized Eldrich mini god's many beady eyes stared at the artist, the many tendrils staying in place and letting her create her charcoal creation with as much accuracy as she could have. It lays on a small bundle of leaves in the autumn floor, it's beak partly open and idly blowing small wobbling bubbles.
DAMZ: This had to be one of her more, interesting muses. It wasn't everyday to see a mini eldrich god in a mass in the park. But,there is was, just blowing bubble and being chill. She kept her eyed on it, or stealing glance o not to go mad. She did her best with each eye and tendril down to the last detail, along with the leaves it laied on. It was being a very still muse so it added to being easier than most.
Mini: It wasn't often someone outside of an occult would take a moment to really appreciate such a creature, and yet there she was, crafting an image of something most would consider, unimaginable. Truth be told this particular collection of countless tendrils was fond of the appreciative attention it would receive. It was also quite curious how her own sight and mind would perceive it's form and applied to art. And so, it lay patient, it's eyes staying open or closed, beak resting upon the grass.
DAMZ: It was a challenge, there was no lie there. She knew well enough she couldn't catch all of the creature had to offer, but she would show what it aloud her to perceive. She had however caught sight of the beak and its many eyes, as each held a different expression alone. After all, eyes are window to the soul as they say. And even if the creature had lack of facial expression it was clear in the thousand of eyes. Some that were even unfamiliar to Damara. She also caught the bubbled is blew from the beak.
Mini: The bubbles that would blow were slow to drift and to make, but she would have no trouble with such details. The creature's main features however, would prove more challenging indeed. She already has proven to have quite a psyche, to catch mere glimpses and yet be compelled to continue her project. Such minds were fascinating to the mini god. Seconds melded into minutes, minutes twisting into an hour. And not once was she tempted to remove herself from it's presence? Truly, she really is a determined artist.
DAMZ: It was a larger project, and things were begging to look rather jarbeld to her. But this was expected when staring at an Eldrich God for like what could be hours. The fact that she wasn't a pile of mush, or screaming with madness was lost on her too; though she promised herself she would keep going. She stopped for a moment and patted her cheeks as reassurance. It was said that it was her ancestors were worshipers of the great creatures and were part of the cult or started it.But Damara was of a generation where such old things were lost.Though as time went on for her, the walls of reality were beginning to shift though she kept on.
Mini: Oh it could feel it now, the swirls in her mind twitching and flattening out as her skull went from a fortress to a wire cage. But it remains still for her, it's various tendrils sharing a multitude of textures from the smoothest and slickest of touch to harsh grating diamond pattern lines, with various hooked barbs and spines serving as implements of harm to patterned pores shining with a clear cool gel that left a scent of sugar water. And it's smooth beak, having a tri-pair of serrations near the tip. And these details, becoming much clearer with every glance she took.
DAMZ: Shaking her head and taking a deep breath, she looked beck the creature. Instead of running, or leaning away she began to move closer. She wasn't entranced, no she wanted ta closer look to pay attention to deatail. She of course kept silent and kept a distance in its respect for its space. She sat closer now, and drawing rather swiftly covering the page until she continued with a second one. She Knew in the moment as it showed more and more of itself, she would create a puzzle of papers and capture even what Lovecraft himself couldn't even describe. Her determination was a steel and curiosity lined with ivory; She smiled now with the great muse she had. If this was a smaller one, only god knows what would happen with the larger gods or even priest.
Mini: If this was a larger specimen, she would face the same problem Lovecraft would have. But as it stands, with her in the presence of a smaller Eldrich creature, she has already surpassed good old Uncle Howard by a large margin; by glancing upon the creature and capturing it's image with but charcoal and parchment. And while she worked with a tool of greys and blacks, her own project would show the god's colors, deep unfathomable blues and violets of a cold sea, and a soul piercing pale green gaze of the battalion of eyes that peppered the surface of the creature's skin. And a feeling, a compulsion, an invitation even, for her to take a moment to set her crafts down, and truly see the beast that lay before her, even if only to take in every last remaining unseen detail.
DAMZ: Her mind was wandering now, it all felt like a a dream; was it? She supposed it did not matter, she was in this situation and she did need a break. Putting down the the charcoal she peered at the creature in front of her. She felt no fear for it, or great longing; it was what it was. And she was capturing it the best she new how. The colors were becoming more apparent along with many other things that it was affecting. She sat now crossing her legs as she let her hair down and relaxed.
Mini: Even her own perceptions wear altering, with her charcoals lightly sparking into wonderful colors and the grass growing wonderfully cold to the touch. To say nothing of the taste of the air that glazed her tongue, or the smoothness of the fabric that clung to her skin. Is it madness, or is it what reality truly is? Who can know or care? The Eldrich mini god is aware of her craft being set aside, and does take the time to slowly stir and let it's tentacles glide through the air, and slide under the grass to reach forth and greet Damara with a few soft petting strokes along her back.
DAMZ: "WHAT THE.." she felt the the tentacle pet her an she didn't honestly know how to feel. It was rather strange but held no malice so she didn't freak out that it touched her. With her hand that she dusted off, she patted the tendril, much as a hello as it touched her. This was getting much weirder then she had anticipated. She mustered up a kind smile, something he didn't give often to any one or thing. But at the moment, she felt strangely at peace or content. The air she breathed felt lighter, the cold earth soothed, and she just honestly was just enjoying her self and peculiar company she had. "あまりにも私はこのようにあまりにも多くの日を取得しない悪い" She muttered under her breath.((Too bad I never get too many days like this))
Mini: Indeed, she has had far too little times of tranquility in life. Today, is a gift. A gift of peace, and contentedness, one she would surely enjoy. The creature shifts and seems to sit itself up taller, many tendrils gliding across the grass with idle motion, the appendage at her back leaning up to nestle into her hand for her returning gestures. The many beady windows to the Eldrich mini god's souls do blink and stare, each fathoming various wonderful things and offering hints to it's own perceptions. Indeed, her being so calm and accepting of the very distortion and breaking of reality around her, fascinates the beast that rests before her.
DAMZ: It had gotten bigger, oh shit it had gotten bigger. This wasn't too surprising but it seemed to take more of an interest in her. With tendril now fitting into her hand, she caressed with a genteelness making sure not to disrupt the eyes too much. The sky above her swirled like a painting, and even the trees seemed to melt like dripping wax. Damara looked around her realizing her mind was going off the wire. Once creature was off, she would stuck with this madness on her own. Not that it would surprise her, just that it was inevitable. She picked the cool grass below her as it writhed like parasites with tiny legs in her hand. Why was she accepting this? She had figured it was her determination to draw the beast and the consequences that would follow, but even the most prepared adventurers and mind scapers would hit a point where they lose themselves and scream with insanity. Maybe she was waiting for that. That point of no return," HOW TERRIFYING.." She said out loud.
Mini: Indeed, sure one may be able to easily talk of madness and how a mind would be broken... but seldom do those who speak of such things actually experience them. The Eldrich being does not grow any larger, rather leaning itself closer towards her and tilting with an expression of curiosity. The tendril in her hand slowly coils around her wrist, squirming and weaving itself between and around her fingers for a moment before letting her hand go. Many of it's eyes lock onto hers, the slick serrated beak parting to let numerous small bubbles rain past her jawline and pop silently against her neck. And here she is, hardly making a peep of terror or incantation of morbid prayer. She really is a blood letter of the Megido family.
DAMZ: She felt the bubbles touch and pop,as she looked back to the mini Eldrich monster as it seemed to moved closer to her. Goose bumps have formed from the strange precipitation." YOU SEEM CURIOUS. HEH HOW SWEET. BUT I NEED TO KEEP DRAWING YOU." she said now addressing it directly. These creatures never cared for humanity, and why would they? They were but specs compared to them, even their own more worthy followers were distorted and instinct driven. But now here she was with one of the smaller gods, sitting and she supposed hanging out. She reached out and picked back up where she started and continued drawing its likeness.
Mini: It continued to stare and tilt, observing her and quietly swaying it's many appendages. And as soon as her charcoal was held, it was back to it's previous posture, right down to the slight gap the beak held and the angle of it's many tentacle's implements. Dusk does approach, or is it dawn? With such a warped mind, such things seem trivial. And yet, she continued in her work it seems. She does contain this creature's curiosity and fascination with her unwavering resolve to capture the creature's image. And it does allow her to do so, giving her even further perceptions towards it's textures and it's proper shading.
DAMZ: She sighed a little breath. No matter how much she captured and it, in the best way it could to help showed her what it was; it never felt quite done or even close. Was that part of mind melding loop she might have caught herself in, and the sky seemed to be growing darker in twilight..or was it something else. Soon things just felt like it was spinning, but she continued. Her phone was beginning to go off as she looked to her sweatshirts pocket. The lettering was jumbled and unreadable. jut as it would happen. The phone soon let out a white static noise that forced Damara to turn it off and toss the phone an in opposite direction. She hoped it wasn't anybody important. But no one ever call her right? She didn't quite have friends, they weren't. Right, she was fine, it was fine to keep working. Her body was beginning to feel light..
Mini: One of many effects of prolonged exposure to the old ones. From hearing noises, feeling unnatural sensations, reality melting and cracking to fit into new pieces, it's madness to try and put logic and reason into it all. But then again, it would be madness to try and capture the full image of an elder god, regardless of size. It's a noble effort, but it would be a maddening, futile effort in the end. Not that it will stop her that's for sure. She's far too determined to complete this project, isn't she~?
DAMZ: Her mind was slowly parting ways. She just had the charcoal and and the creature now. The nice feelings she had were leaving her body. Her stomach was tight, her hair was heavy, and her hand kept smoothing and smearing the colorful work of art. Yes, she was determine but now her mind was weighing on her. She looked to her phone and could feel the static. Was this worth it, letting madness take her for her art. She looked down at it,and back to the creature. It had been her muse and companion for the moment. She chuckled and continued on through the pages. Yes, it was worth it.Even if the creature would not care in the end, the fact that she pulled something off as massive as this. It would be rather amazing." I WILL PROBABLY BE TAKEN AFTER THIS MEETING." She said softly to it as she draws and looked to it." I HOPE IT NOT BE..SO BAD.."
Mini: ((This, was, wonderful~ Not often I get a chance to explore the madness part of being an Eldrich creature~ But alas, my own mind has taken it's tole, and I require rest. You've got a very good prompt~))
DAMZ: ((Thanks! idk where you were honestly going with it, But this was very fun. You have a good rest ^^))
Mini: ((My goal was tentacle fucks, kinda. Sorta. But madness and the descent into it is also interesting in it's own right. It's nice to have a break from fucking ya know~? Heheheh, well, take care, and good night. Or, morning.))
DAMZ: (well I hope to catch ya on the flip side fam. yeye Damz out!))
